In 2024, our family took a leap of faith—and a step back in time. Together with my mother-in-law, Theresa Ferguson, we purchased the former Snyder Farms Restaurant in Sophia, North Carolina. For over a decade, Snyder Farms was a local favorite, known for its welcoming atmosphere and home-style charm. We knew this space deserved new life and a fresh purpose.

Theresa brings several decades of experience running Just Desserts Catering and Cakes, where she built a reputation for crafting beautiful events and unforgettable meals. Expanding into the event space world felt like a natural next step—a way to not only serve great food but also create lasting memories.

Today, Becker Hill Wedding Venue stands as a blend of old and new. We've transformed the property into a modern, versatile event space, perfect for weddings, celebrations, and gatherings of all kinds. But we’ve kept the spirit of Snyder Farms alive—preserving the warmth, hospitality, and sense of community that made this place special.
